    139.4 % by solvent

    Explanation:

    Solute = KNO₃

    Solvent = H₂O

    So to get a concentration of g solute / 100 g of solvent, we can make a rule of three:

    A mass of 2.03 in solvent has 2.83 of KNO₃

    A mass of 100 in solution would has (100. 2.83) / 2.03 = 139.4

    We can also calculate it, like this

    (Mass of solute / Mass of solvent). 100 =

    (2.83 / 2.03). 100 = 139.4
