A sample of gas in a fixed container at 25.0 Celsius has a pressure of 1.50 atm. If the temperature of the gas is increased to 50.0 Celsius the new pressure will be?

    Pressure1/temp1 = pressure2/temp2

    P1/T1 = P2/T2

    temp is in K = C + 273

    (1.50) / (298) = P2/323

    P2 = (1.50) (323) / (298) = 1.625 = 1.63 atm
