What is a disadvantage of using a structural model to show a chemical compound? Structural models provide minimal three-dimensional information. Structural models do not identify the number and type of each atom. Structural models cannot distinguish between single, double, and triple bonds. Structural models cannot distinguish between different isomers of a compound.

    Structural models provide minimal 3-D information but nothing more about its Chemistry.

    This is the only answer that applies because Structural models can differentiate between double single and triple bonds as well between different isomers of a compound based on its rearrangement. Most structural models use different colored balls for each type of atom and the number of atoms involved can also be identified.
