    Explanation:

    Mixtures are the matter which can vary in composition as mixtures are the combination of one or more substances combined together physically to form a new substance whose ratio can vary accordingly and is not fixed.

    A mixture has two components i. e Solute and Solvent. The Solute is the substance which is taken in less amount in the solution and the Solvent is the substance which is present in greater amount in the solution. For example Sugar dissolve in water where water is a solvent in sugar is a solute.

    Mixtures are if two types i. e Homogeneous mixture and Heterogeneous mixture. A Homogeneous mixture is that which has uniform composition properties throughout the solution, whereas, a Heterogeneous mixture is the mixture which do not have uniform composition properties throughout the solution.
