What kinds of energy does the Sun provide earth

I am positive it is solar energy

The sun emits rays of heat and our solar panels take in that heat and transfer that heat into energy. Sun is also a way of keeping warm or thermal energy

Not going to explain how a solar panel transfers heat into electricity since that would take an entire college class period to explain.
