    We use the formula δ (density) = m/v

    Explanation:

    The density (δ) is the ratio between the mass and the volume of a compound:

    An example:

    mass = 120 g; volume = 15 cm3

    δ=m/v = 120 g/15 cm3 = 8 g/cm3
