    A) I believe the answer is colloid. A colloid is a heterogeneous mixture that contains particles that are small enough to be suspended but also large enough to reflect and scatter light. The colloids are grouped using the physical state of the particle being suspended and physical state of the medium being dispersed.

    b) The answer should be suspension. A suspension is a heterogeneous mixture that contains relatively large particles that settle very fast over time. Suspension can occur in liquids or gasses but not solids. The large particles usually suspend in the solution but due to their weight they eventually settle down at the base.
