The appropriate answer is D. Unlike in Colorado, rock structures in Florida were formed by erosion.

The state of Florida sits atop a limestone plateau formed over 500 million years ago. The basement of this plateau was formed by ancient volcanic activity and oceanic deposition.

Limestone is very susceptible to weathering and erosion and forms a distinctive Karst landscape; with caves, sinkholes etc.

The geology of Colorado is dominated by deposition of sedimentary rocks and these can be seen in the colourful banded rock formations exposed in places such as Owl canyon.
