    When we say that a substance has high reactivity then it means the substance is able to react readily with another substance.

    For example, atomic number of potassium is 19 and its electronic distribution is 2, 8, 8, 1.

    Since, it has only one valence electron and to attain stability it just needs 8 electrons in its valence shell. So, it will readily lose its 1 valence electron and thus become very much reactive in nature.

    Thus, we can conclude that for a substance to have high reactivity it means that it reacts easily with other substances.
