    Ke = 15.407

    balanced eq: 2SO2 (g) + O2 (g) → 2SO3 (g)

    Explanation:

    balanced equation:

    2SO2 (g) + O2 (g) → 2SO3 (g)

    equilibrium constant (Ke):

    ∴ Ke = [SO3]² / [SO2]²[O2]

    equilibrium concentration at 1500 K:

    ∴ [SO3] = 0.56 mol/L

    ∴ [SO2] = 0.344 mol/L

    ∴ [O2] = 0.172 mol/L

    ⇒ Ke = (0.56) ² / (0.344) ² (0.172)

    ⇒ Ke = 15.407
