In a chemical reaction, an initially neutral molecule captures two electrons. what charge will the molecule have after the reaction is complete

    Answer is: charge of the molecule will be negative (-2).

    Electron is subatomic particles whose electric charge is negative one elementary charge (-1). Molecule who capture electrons now how more electrons than protons (one positive charge) and because of that that molecule is negative.
