What forces can be classified as intramolecular

    Hello!

    Within a molecule, the atoms are linked by intramolecular forces (mainly ionic, metallic or covalent bonds). These are the forces that must be overcome in order to produce a chemical change. It is these forces, therefore, that determine the chemical properties of substances.
