    V = 264.89 L

    Explanation:

    Given dа ta:

    Number of moles of sulfur = 20.0 mol

    Volume of sulfur = ?

    Temperature = 75.3°C

    Pressure = 2.16 atm

    Solution:

    The given problem will be solve by using general gas equation,

    PV = nRT

    P = Pressure

    V = volume

    n = number of moles

    R = general gas constant = 0.0821 atm. L / mol. K

    T = temperature in kelvin

    Now we will convert the temperature.

    75.3+273.15 = 348.45 K

    V = nRT/P

    V = 20.0 mol * 0.0821 atm. L / mol. K * 348.45 K / 2.16 atm

    V = 572.15 L / 2.16

    V = 264.89 L
