4.00 L of a gas is known to contain 0.975 mol. If the amount of gas is increased to 3.80 mol, what new volume will result?

    From Avogadro's law equal volume of the gas contain equal number of moles

    V=N

    4L=0.975mol

    XL=3.8mol

    Cross multiplication

    New volume will be = (3.8mol*4L:0.975mol)

    =15.6L
