Where does the energy go when you bounce a ball

    As we know from physics, energy is not really lost, it just changes form. One possible change in form is from energy to heat. Could this be what happens to a dribbling ball? In this sports science project, you will determine whether a bouncing basketball loses any of the energy that makes it bounce by changing that energy into heat.
