    The new pressure is calculated using Boyles law formula

    tha is P1V1=P2V2

    P1 = 3atm

    V1=5 L

    V2 = 7500 = 7500/1000 = 7.5 L

    p2=?

    by making P2 the subject of the formula = P1V1/V2

    P2 = 3 atm x5 L / 7.5 L = 2 atm is the new pressure
