    From Boyle's law the volume of a fixed mass of a gas is inversely proportional to the pressure at a constant absolute temperature. Thus; K = PV Hence; P1V1 = P2V2 0.5 * 24 = 4 * P2 P2 = 12/4 = 3 atm Therefore; the pressure will go from 24 atm to 3 atm
