    The mass in grams of 0.0420 moles is calculated as below

    mass = moles x molar mass

    the molar mass of Cu = 63.5 g/mol

    moles = 0.0420 moles

    mass = 63.5 g/mol x 0.0420 = 2.667 grams of Cu
