Why is the formation of a ternary compound also a synthesis reaction?

    A compound that has three different elements is called the ternary compound. The formation of a ternary compound is also considered to be a synthesis reaction because the ternary compound is in need to form a new compound by combining two compounds. Thus, a synthesis reaction is form when two substances are able to react in order to form a substance.
