    6000mL

    Explanation:

    v1 = 12000ml

    p1 = 1 atm

    p2 = 2 atm

    v2=?

    using Boyle's law; p1 x v1 = p2 x v2

    1 x 12000 = 2 x v2

    v2 = (1 x 12000) / 2

    v2 = 6000mL
