What is the relationship between the values of wavelength, frequency, and energy of electromagnetic waves

    With an EM wave, the higher the frequency is, the higher the energy but also the lower the wavelength. If a wave has a low frequency, it will have a high wavelength but also low energy. An example is a radio wave. A high frequency, high energy (but low wavelength) wave like gamma or UV are also ionising which means they have enough energy to knock electrons off atoms.
