    Molarity is 1.5 M and the volume is 2 l; thus

    The number of moles of NaCl will be given by;

    Molarity * volume in liters

    = 1.5 * 2 = 3 moles

    But 1 mole of NaCl contains 58.5 g/mole

    Therefore; the mass of 3 moles will be;

    3 * 58.5 = 175.5 g

    The mass of NaCl is therefore 175.5 g
