    The force of buoyancy is: F = ρVg. The density of water is 1000kg/m^3 and the V is 8x10^-6m³. Therefore: F = 1000 x (8x10⁻⁶) x 9.8m/s² = 0.0784N.

Compared to the force of gravity (F = mg = 0.005kg x 9.8m/s² = 0.049N), since the force of buoyancy is greater, it will float.
