How many liters of gas would be formed at 460 ∘c and 1.00 atm pressure by explosion of 560 g of nh4no3?

    NH4NO3 - > NH3 + H2O

    n = 560/80 = 7 (mol)

    => n (NH3 + H20) = 7+7 = 14 (mol)

    P. V = nRT (R = 22.4/273 = 0.082)

    (T = 460 + 273 = 773K)

    => V = (nRT) / P = (14 x 0.082 x 773) / 1 = 887.404 (L)
