An atomic orbital is the most probable location for an electron surrounding the nucleus of an atom, whereas the Energy level is the distance from the ground state or nucleus that an electron is revolving in, the Orbital wont change but the Energy level can increase or decrease based on the amount of energy absorbed or released by an electron.
