Similarity - 1 mol of NaOH in 1M and 1m.

    Difference - 1M - 1 mol NaOH in 1L solution,

    1m - 1 mol NaOH in 1000g solvent (water).

    Explanation:

M - Molarity, the number moles of solute are dissolved in 1 L of solution.

m - Molality is the number of moles of solute per 1 (kg) kilogram = 1000 g of solvent.

Similarity - 1 mol of NaOH in 1M and 1m.

    Difference - 1M - 1 mol NaOH in 1L solution,

    1m - 1 mol NaOH in 1000g solvent (water).
