A solution containing 1.15 mol benzene dissolved in carbon tetrachloride has a concentration of 0.86 m. How many kilograms of carbon tetrachloride must the solution contain?

    Molality (m) = moles solute / kg of solvent

    In this case,

    0.86 m = 1.15 moles of benzene / Kg of carbon tetrachloride

    kg of CCl4 = 1.15 mole / 0.86 m = 1.34 Kg
