    Magnesium is a chemical solution that occurs naturally. It occurs only in miners and caverns called the nitro-magnesium site. This solution is also used in the commerce that is made by nitric acid including many of the magnesium salt.

    It is used in preparation as a dehydrating agent in concentrated nitric acid. The fertilizer grade of this solution is 10.5%

    This reacts with the alkali metal and to form the corresponding nitrate.
