What is the ratio of al3 + ions to s2 - ions in a neutral compound

    2:3. The neutral compound formed between aluminium and sulfur is Al2S3 since aluminium has the valence 3 and sulfur is 2. So there are 2 aluminium atoms for every 3 sulfur atoms and the ratio is 2:3.
