During a lab activity, students prepared two solutions separately at the same temperature. Later they mixed the solutions and the temperature dropped. Why?

    Reactions usually only happen spontaneously if they are exothermic. Therefore the best answer is:

    I think it's B because the individual properties had their own temperature and when the were mixed they observed ones temperature and cold down by sharing the same properties
