Answer: The four phases of mitosis in order are prophase, metaphase, anaphase, and telophase.

Explanation: What happens in prophase is what's known as the chromatin condenses and turns into chromosomes and the nuclear membrane breaks down. During metaphase, the chromosomes line up at the metaphase plate and the sister chromatids come in and start to get captured by microtubules. During anaphase, Sister chromatids separate, and the now-daughter chromosomes move to opposite poles of the cell. Finally during telophase, the sister chromatids reach opposite poles.
