You used both HNO3 and H2SO4 solutions in this experiment. briefly answer the following question.

why couldn't you substitute 3M H2SO4 for concentrated HNO3 in Part 1?

    Sulfuric acid isn't as solid as an oxidizing agent. For this situation, the sulfuring acid wouldn't be a sufficiently solid reducing agent which is the reason you wouldn't have the capacity to disintegrate copper oxide in it instead of in nitric acid.
