    Explanation:

    The pH scale ranges from 1 to 14.

    1 being extremely acidic and 14 being extremely basic.

    7 is right in the middle and is known as neutral.

    Substances such as water have a pH of 7 and are therefore neutral.

    The substance would be neutral. because all substances with a ph higher than 7 are considered bases, and all substances with a ph below 7 are considered acids
