The Boyle's Law states that at a constant temperature the pressure of a given mass of an ideal gas is inversely proportional to its volume. The Boyle's Law can be represented mathematically by using the equation below;

PV = k. Where P = pressure, V = volume and k = constant.

Hence, P1V1 = P2V2.
