How many moles of oxygen gas would be needed to react completely with 8 moles of lithium metal in the following reaction? 4Li + O2 yields 2Li2O

    Here, 4 moles of Lithium reacts with 1 mole of Oxygen

    hence, 1 mole of lithium reacts with 1/4 moles of Oxygen

    and, 8 moles with react with 1/4 * 8 = 2 moles

    in short, the answer is 2 moles
