The process of the sedimentation will take more time when carried out in the moon surface as compared to the earth's surface because of the less gravitational force.

    Explanation:

Sedimentation is process in which the particles present in the suspension in water settle down of the suspension under the effect of gravity. The particle that has been settled down are the sediments. For the process to take place, gravity plays a vital role, but as we know that the gravitational force in moon is 1/6th or can say 16.7% of earth's gravitational force. So it will take more time as compared to the experiment done in the earth surface.
