Find the new concentration of a solution if 25.0 mL of water is added to 125.0 mL of 0.150 M NaCl solution.

    V₁=125.0 mL=0.1250 L

    c₁=0.150 mol/L

    Δv=25.0 mL = 0.0250 L

    n (NaCl) = v₁c₁

    v₂=v₁+Δv

    c₂=n (NaCl) / v₂

    c₂=v₁c₁ / (v₁+Δv)

    c₂=0.1250*0.150 / (0.1250+0.0250) = 0.125 mol/L
