The formula of Potassium decahydrate is (K2CO3.10H2O). It contains two atoms of Potassium, one atom of Carbon, thirteen atoms of Oxygen and twenty atoms of Hydrogen.
It is basic in nature. So, it is called a basic salt. It turns red litmus paper into blue.
