A sample of hydrogen gas has a volume of 4.4L at a pressure of 800torr. if the pressure in decreased to 400 torr, what will be the new volume

    P1V1=P2V2

    P1=800 torr

    V1=4.4L

    P2=400 torr

    V2=?

    (800) (4.4) = (400) V2

    3520=400V2

    3520/400=V2

    8.8=V2
