Why is it important to study chemical reactions in closed containers

    So that the chemicals you are studying are isolated off from anything outside of the container. If you were to study chemicals out in the open, air, oxygen, or anything or the sort could end up combining and reacting with the chemicals, which is something you probably don't want.

    Because they could have an explosive reaction and could possibly hurt you
