Our Earth cycles through day and night regularly. This cycle allows us to have a way to keep track of time and schedule our daily lives. Most of our activities and interactions occur during the day and most of our sleeping occurs at night. Without a regular day and night cycle, people's schedules would be quite different from one another.

Which statements are true about Earth's day and night cycle?

On Earth, one day and night cycle is 24 hours long.

The day and night cycle is the length of time it takes for Earth to travel around the Sun.

The sun appears to rise from the same direction and set in the same direction daily.

The day and night cycle allowed people to be able to tell time before clocks were invented.
