The density of water at 40°c is 0.992 g/ml. what is the volume of 2.50 g of water at this temperature?

    To calculate for the volume of a substance, simply get the ratio of the mass and density. That is:

    Volume = mass / density

    Therefore by substitution:

    Volume = 2.50 g / (0.992 g / mL)

    Volume = 2.52 mL
