2 C2H2 (g) + 5 O2 (g) - → 4 CO2 (g) + 2 H2O (g).

How much CO2 is produced when 20000 g of C2H2 burns completely?

    The ratio of the input of C2H2 to the output of CO2 is 1 to 2. Multiply the input of C2H2 times 2 to get the output of CO2.

    20,000g C2H2 x 2 - 40,000g CO2
