What is the percent by mass of sucrose, C6H12O6, in a saturated sugar water solution at 20C that contains 200g of sugar in 500g of water?

    Percent mass = mass of sugar/mass of mixture*100 = 200g sugar / (700g) * 100 approximately 28.57 % of sugar.
