    Overall: HgCl2 (aq) + K2S (aq) - - > HgS (s) + 2KCl (aq)

spectator ions: K + and Cl-

    precipitate: HgS

net ionic: (Hg^2+) + (S^2-) - - > HgS I put parentheses to make it less messy and confusing. When i put a ^, that means that the following are in the exponent position (2 + or 2-)
