    C = 15.03 kj / g

    Explanation:

    Mass of cereal = 6.55 g

    Heat capacity = 41.88 Kj / °C

    Change in temperature = 2.35 °C

    Energy = ?

    Solution:

    Energy content = specific heat capacity * change in temperature / mass

    C = c. ΔT/m

    C = 41.88 Kj / °C * 2.35 °C / 6.55 g

    C = 98.42 kj / 6.55 g

    C = 15.03 kj / g
