What is the molecular formular of a compound whose empirical formula is ch3 and whose molar mass is 30 g/mol?

    You can take the molecular formula's mass of 30g and divide that by 15g of the empirical formula to get 2. Take that 2 and multiply it to the empirical to get the molecular formula of C2H6.
