What is the partial pressure of hydrogen in a gas mixture containing hydrogen and oxygen if the total pressure is 1500 mmHg and the partial pressure of oxygen is 455mmHg

    Total pressure = partial of hydrogen + partial pressure of oxygen

    therefore partial of Hydrogen = total pressure - partial pressure of oxygen

    that is 1500 mm Hg - 455 mm hg = 1045 mm hg
