How does nuclear fission usually start

    Fission is the parting of a molecule. In an atomic response, researchers shoot an entire cluster of neutrons at uranium-235 molecules. When one neutron hits the core, the uranium moves toward becoming U-236. When it ends up 236, the uranium molecule needs to part separated.
