In what region of the periodic table will you find elements with relatively high IEs? With relatively low IEs?

    When we find elements with high ionization energy in the upper right corner because the zeff experienced by the outer electron is high and electrons that are close to the nucleus.

    The low Ionization energy elements are found in lower left where majority is of metals. The Zeff is low as the outer electrons are distance from the nucleus.
